Hectic week of last minute preparation in anticipation of the motor and body coming together, with expected challenges along the way!

First misplaced orings, followed by missing valve guides, which are still awol! Lots of running around and everything back in track, although I think the guys at Auto Azzuri might be tired of seeing me!

Interestingly the head was previously assembled with a missing valve spring cap, the first part Auto Azzuri have not been able to supply. Although they did point me in the direction of one at Motor Masters, who do all their head work, so technically they still have 100% supply record!

Carbs, alternator & starter motor all cleaned up and ready for installation.

Another patch of rust found below the windscreen wiper motor valence. Quickly sorted and ready for spray.

Absolutely gorgeous restored 1300 Stepnose at Auto Azzuri, cant wait to get my teeth into mine!
