Earlier this week it occurred to me that I only have 8 working days available before the Jaguar Simola Hill Climb. My stomach turned and panic set in!
Fortunately, all the engineering work on the motor is complete and assembly has begun. Turns out my crank pulley is cracked and sourcing a new (secondhand un-cracked) one was quite a challenge. Once again Auto Azzuri saved the day, retaining their 100% supply ratio!
Bodywork complete and sprayed, hoping to collect today, after re-installing dashboard and windscreen. Looks like an all nighter figuring out and installing the lights and wiring…. what was I thinking!!!
If everything goes to plan, we should be installing the motor on friday and spend the weekend running in. #fingerscrossed
