It’s all coming back to me slowly, the things I dislike about racing. The sleepless night before, last minute preparation (or lack thereof) and expectation of organised chaos. Or not in this case…

Last minute check of spark plugs turned to disaster after two plugs self destruct from being over tightened. The joys of being driver and mechanic, not hiding the accountability!

Needless to say, we arrived fashionably (and consistently) late, in keeping with my @simola_hillclimb history.

Seamless administration process completed thanks to the very friendly and efficient organisers.

And the remainder of the day is just a blur of fun filled action, with @71veloce performing way better than anticipated, despite the lack of sump guard and proper preparation.

Totally hooked and excited to participate in all rally sprint races in 2023.
