OneTrackMind “Your Mental Health Matters”

20 years in the motorcycle industry took its toll on my life, particularly my metal health. Eventually I recognised the need to take care of myself and seized every opportunity that crossed my path to satisfy my passion. All things Automotive.

In 2018 a friend and I embarked on a once in a lifetime RoadTrip through Europe. 7 Countries, 5609km in 3 weeks on the freshly released KTM 790 Duke. KTM, RebBull Hanger 7 (Austria), Porsche Museum (Stuttgart), Hockenheimring, Nurburgring, SpaFrancorchamps, Channel Tunnel, BrandsHatch, Aston Martin, Alfaholics, Brooklands Motor Museum, GWM Aston, VIP GoodWood Festival of Speed (Courtesy Aston Martin), Overnight ferry to France, Lyon, St Raphael, Lucca (Summer Festival), Tavullia (Valentino Rossi), World Ducati Week (Misano), Lamborghini, Pagani, Ferrari, KTM (Austria).

This trip set the tone for the remainder of my life. Come Ride with Me.

4 Wheels move the body, 2 Wheels move the soul, RoadTrips clear the mind.

AUTODIDACT “Self Taught”

For 20 years I owned a motorcycle store, employing up to 12 mechanics at its peak. At no point was I ever “hands on” in the workshop, although, at times I may have been overly critical of their work & environment. Over the years I commissioned & oversaw many custom motorcycles, from Cafe Racer Ducati’s to Rally Spec Adventure KTM’s. In 2015 I acquired a 71 Alfa Romeo 1750GTV which had been butchered into a race car. I slowly sourced the original parts, installing them myself. Therapeutic on the one hand, stressful on the other. Lack of tools, skill & experience resulted disorganised chaos. In other words, eating humble pie! In 2018 I commissioned & project managed the #RescueMod of my barnfind 1967 Alfa Romeo Scalno. In 2021 when I sold the business, I had acquired a couple of projects and a friend suggested I complete them myself. So I did & it turned out to be just the challenge I needed, learning a lot about myself, acquiring useful skills along the way.

And thats how we got here.
