What a week, baptism of fire would be an understatement. Starting with fabricating, ending with body filler, and some body parts may have lost their identifying features.
Huge shoutout to Dawie from @raptor_coating_sa for guiding me through the process of using their products. Without which I would still be watching YouTube tutorials!!!
But once again I have underestimated the extent of the work involved. Although things are more or less on track, this evening as I was locking up, I noticed the rear valence which I have freshly rack welded in place is completely out of alignment. This after making the effort to test fit the rear window and boot to make sure all is in place before committing my welds.
In other news, we decided to pop into the kyknet outdoor expo, considering it’s literally across the road from us….
While purchasing tickets, I joked about pensioners discount… and then spent the next ten minutes convincing them I was not in fact a pensioner! first “oom” and now this!
