Prince Alfred's Pass and Angie's G Spot
Blind corners on a long gravel pass, and the best lunch stop on it.
Prince Alfred's Pass climbs out of the Knysna forest and over the mountains to Uniondale, about 70 km of gravel with blind corners, steep drops and very few places to pass. Halfway along, at De Vlugt, is Angie's G Spot. Yes, really. Stop there.
On the 2020 trip we had lunch at Angie's and stayed far too long. It's that kind of place: big plates, cold drinks, and nobody in a hurry.

Good to know
- Use your horn on the blind corners. Some locals drive it like they own it, because they do.
- The surface changes with the weather. Check before you go.
- Fuel in Knysna or Uniondale. Nothing in between.
