Piekenierskloof Pass
The pass that says you've left Cape Town behind.
Piekenierskloof is the N7's climb out of the Swartland and over into the Olifants River valley. It's not wild or difficult, just a properly good set of bends with orange orchards and the Cederberg spread out in front of you.
Every northern trip I've done has started here. It's where the city noise finally leaves your head.
