Motor Valley
Ducati, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Pagani and Maserati, all within an hour of each other.
Motor Valley is the stretch of Emilia-Romagna between Bologna and Modena where half of the world's most beautiful machines are made. Ducati in Borgo Panigale, Lamborghini in Sant'Agata, Ferrari in Maranello, Pagani in San Cesario and Maserati in Modena, each with a museum and most with factory tours.
After years of selling Ducatis, going to Borgo Panigale in 2017 felt like going home. Then I went to the others and remembered I'm a car guy too. Expensive week.

Good to know
- Book factory tours well in advance. Some are only on certain days.
- Stay in Modena: central to everything, and the food is ridiculous.
- Hire a car with some character. You'll feel silly in a diesel hatchback.
